  • Jaman (Ferguson) Geyman, DVM

    Practice Owner

    Originally from Madison, Dr. Geyman began her career at the North Madison Veterinary Clinic in 1996 when she shadowed Dr. Ivan Rimstidt at the age of 13.  From there she worked at the North Madison Veterinary Clinic in many capacities until heading of to Purdue University in 2001 to pursue her dream of becoming a veterinarian.  In 2008, she accomplished her goal and graduated from the Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Geyman found her way back to Madison in 2009 to begin her professional career at the North Madison Veterinary Clinic and was able to practice veterinary medicine under the guidance and mentorship of Dr. Rimstidt for 10 years before his retirement and her subsequent purchase of the practice in April 2019.

    Dr. Geyman practices small animal and production animal medicine.  She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Indiana Veterinary Medical Association.  She enjoys working with the 4-H youth in our community and is an active member of Wirt Baptist Church.  She is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Madison-Jefferson County Community Foundation.  In her time away from work, Dr. Geyman enjoys spending time with her husband, Joseph, and their three daughters, Molly, Emily and Sally.  Her pastimes also include being active outdoors, landscaping, gardening, reading, baking, and spending time with her extended family.

  • Lori (Phillips) Simma, DVM

    Associate Veterinarian

    Dr. Simma started working with Dr. Geyman in April 2019.  She grew up with Dr. Geyman in the Madison area and graduated from Madison Consolidated High School in 2000.  She attended Purdue University for her undergraduate studies and veterinary school.  She graduated from the Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2008.  She moved to Terre Haute after veterinary school with her husband and practiced there for almost 10 years.  She is excited to be back in her hometown.

  • Susan Pedigo, MS, RVT, LATG

    Practice Manager/Veterinary Technologist

    Susan graduated from Purdue University with her AS in veterinary technology in 1995.  She worked at Purdue University for 10 years before coming to the North Madison Veterinary Clinic in 2006.  While working at Purdue University she completed her bachelor's degree in veterinary technology and master's degree in Educational Technology.  She has an interest in arthritis and physical rehabilitation.  She is a member of the Indiana Veterinary Technician Association and the Ninth District Indiana Veterinary Medical Association.  She has two Aussies: Riley and Isabelle, and one cat, Pearl.  She recently has added chickens to the menagerie to be able to have farm-fresh eggs.

  • Bethaney Sturgeon

    Registered Veterinary Technician

    Bethaney joined our team in September 2019.  She is originally from the Scottsburg area.  She is a graduate of International Business College-Vet Tech Institute where she received an Associate Degree in Applied Science in Veterinary Technology in 2015. She has an interest in dentistry and animal behavior.  When she is not at North Madison Veterinary Clinic, she enjoys hiking, camping, crafting, and spending time with her family. Bethaney lives in Scottsburg with her husband, William, her daughter Kinley, and two dachshund fur-babies: Lilly, Dixie, and feline friend Kitty.

  • Kathy Slawson

    Inventory Specialist

    Kathy joined the North Madison Veterinary Clinic in July 2019.  Her primary responsibility is to keep all our supplies and medications in order.  You will also see her helping out the receptionists occasionally.  Her background is in the dental field, and she is able to transfer those costumer services and office management skills into our practice.  Kathy lives in Vevay with her husband RD.

    Roxann has been with the North Madison Veterinary Clinic since 1990.  She has an interest in horses and working outdoors.  She spends a lot of her time taking care of her mini-farm which includes all types of animals.

  • Melissa Scott

    Veterinary Assistant

    Melissa has been with the North Madison Veterinary Clinic since 2001.  She enjoys cuddling with all the animals as they come into our care.  She can be seen both up front in the reception area or in the exam room assisting the doctors.  She has her own mini-farm at home with her pet goats, cattle, chickens, cats, and dogs.  She has two children Aiden and Kaleigh who share their mommy's love of animals.

    Veterinary Assistant

    Ruth has been with the North Madison Veterinary Clinic since August 2011.  She attended Purdue University and obtained her entomology degree.  She is graduated with her associates degree in veterinary nursing through the Purdue University Veterinary Nursing program in 2020.

    Kennel Assistant

    Amber started working with the North Madison Veterinary Clinic while she was in high school in 2019.  She graduated in 2020 and is continuing her education to become a veterinary nurse.  She has been an active member of 4-H and is excited to increase her knowledge of the veterinary field.
