Due to the increase of ticks in our area, as well as the number of tick-disease we have been seeing in our patients over the last 2 years, we will be testing for heartworm disease and tick-borne disease annually during your dog's wellness examination as recommended by the Companion Animal Parasite Council. This test will look for heartworm as well as 3 tick diseases (Lyme, Ehrlichia, & Anaplasmosis) found in our area.
